The Competency Check-Up provides an exercise to facilitate your career exploration at CDRH. Using the CDRH technical and foundational competencies, completing a Competency Check-Up can help you identify your level of proficiency (for identified competencies) in:

• your current role and career level
• your current role at a higher career level, or
• a different role that you are interested in exploring.

You can use the Competency Check-Up as a personal way to explore careers. You can also share your exercise results with your manager/supervisor to obtain their perspective on your level of proficiency in CDRH competencies and discuss opportunities for increasing proficiency.

Click the Careers Explorer to the left, navigate to your Role, and click the "What Do I Need To Know?" option to find your competencies and to access the Competency Check-Up for your Role.
